How to Start an Online Job from Home

Admit it or not, you've probably experienced waking up one day, and asked yourself if what you're doing is still worth it?

Getting up early in the morning just to avoid the heavy traffic or long queue of people in the MRT or LRT rides, so you could get to your 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM job.

Perhaps, what only motivates you to go to work is because of the piling up of bills you need to pay for. Sounds very tiring right?
What if you could still do what you're always doing for a living but this time at the comfort of your own home?

"What? Is that even possible?" I bet you're asking this question right now.

Anything is possible, with the technology nowadays, you can now work remotely anywhere in the world!
But how are you gonna start doing an online job from home?

Let me give you some tips:
1. Finding the reason why you want to start working virtually - you have to know your purpose, be it because of family or simply by wanting to become financially stable
2. Discover what or where you're good at - this would be the kind of service you want to offer to your future clients
3. Know your target market - offering your services virtually is not for everyone, you have to know who are your potential clients

4. Do your research - you can't go into a battle without being prepared, so do your thing, keep on researching on how online job works, what sites to visit, who to follow, what online courses to take etc.

5. Believe in yourself!  - because if you won't, then who else will? you need to trust yourself that you can do it and who knows? you might land your dream job!

Are you now ready to start hustling? Online job might be the one for you!

Hurry and take action now! Good luck on your freelancing journey! :)

DIY Travel: Hongkong 2017 Itinerary & Expenses

One of  my highlights this year 2017 is to go out of the country. Vietnam was my first choice since I've received a lot of good feedback about it. However, there was no seat sale promo available at that time except for Hongkong. Hence, my officemate and I booked a ticket for two to Hongkong.

Initially, our plan is to travel both Hongkong and Macau but since we've booked a roundtrip ticket to Hongkong, Macau was later on ticked off our bucket list. We've decided to just maximize our stay in HK since we've also booked the wrong departure date going back to Manila.

Looking back, it was kinda funny and annoying at the same time. But even so, we've still managed to have a great experience there. Our total expense for a 3N2D DIY trip to HK was almost Php 20,000.00. But it could be lowered to Php 10,000-15,000.00 if you won't buy any pasalubong for your friends and relatives and if you won't splurge on shopping for yourself. :)

DIY Travel: Southern Cebu Solo Itinerary & Expenses

"Going solo? Don't be afraid! Learn to face your fear and be up for the challenge!"-that's what I said to myself when I've decided to try solo backpacking in an unfamiliar place.

Close encounter with Whaleshark at Oslob, Cebu

I've chosen Cebu since I've wanted adventure and there's a lot of activities to try out there which I think is really fun and exciting just by looking at the pictures I've scrolled through the internet.

Kawasan Falls
Canyoneering - rest for a while

And I was right! :) This trip was my most unforgettable trip ever since I've started traveling the Philippines. I have tried a lot of things I never thought I was capable of. You know that feeling where adrenaline come rushing through your veins?? Oh yeah!!

Osmena Peak

Financial Goals 2017

Hi guyssss! How are you?? Hope you are all good. :)

Yes, my last post was like six months ago, and I know that this post is super duper late, but still, I want to post my goals for this year. Better late than never right? :p
FINANCIAL GOALS FOR YEAR 2017

1. Build my Emergency Fund - ideally, according to experts, your emergency fund should atleast be 3 to 6 times worth of your monthly expenses. But since I'm just starting to build up my own, I prefer to save just Php 50,000 by the end of this year. And hoping to increase it gradually by next year. :)

2. Have a Debt Payment Fund - debt of course! this one makes me crazy really. A lot of things happened to me for the past few months and yes, I have incurred a loooot of debt. Since it's my first time and I don't want it to happen again in the future, a debt payment fund is a big help!

3. Get a St. Peter Life Plan - I'm just a twenty something girl, and getting a pre-need life plan must sound hilarious isn't it?? I know I'm kinda weird, but believe me! It's really something that you'll need (maybe not for now) since it's a fact that everybody you know will die for sure, including yourself.

4. Invest in UITF or MF - originally, this was my #1 goal for this year, but since Emergency Fund should come first, this became my #4 :) One good thing about investing in UITF and MF is that it's readily available, you just have to go in your preferred bank, undergo some assessment test, submit the requirements, deposit your money and voila! You already have an investment account managed by the professionals.

5. Invest in Stocks - Investment again? Oh yes! but mind you, you should only invest your excess cash which you won't be using in the coming months or years. I'm already done attending the free seminar by PSE, and by the end of the year, hopefully, I could open my own account and start trading for real. :)

Hope that this goals won't be in vain at the end of the year. :)

How about you?  What are your financial goals for this year?

Which 2017 Planner to choose from?

Ber months’ fast approaching and New Year is here to come. For people like me who’s been into planner their whole life, may be struggling now because there are a lot of options to choose from.

Here are my top 3 picks to help you decide.
1.      STARBUCKS 2017 PLANNER

Design: “Stains and blue siren”, which come in 2 sizes regular and mini
Pros: Designed to be interactive since there are monthly activities that encourage users to draw, take and paste photos, get crafty. Planner was so lovely and they have severable add-ons: an erasable pen, a Macchiato magnetic bookmark, cute coffee stickers, discount coupons, and a zip cloth pouch that doubles as a pen case as it keeps the planner clean.

Cons: You need to have 18 stickers by buying a combination of drinks from the holiday and regular beverage menu or have a Php 7,000 single-receipt purchase of participating Starbucks items just to get one planner.

2.      BELLE DE JOUR 2017 PLANNER

Design: "Rise above the Waves"

Pros: Designed for Bellas who need to balance a million things, the BDJ Power Planner has weekly affirmations, informative editorials and special worksheets that all work together so a Bella can achieve a sense of self-fulfillment at the end of the day. Inclusive of the #PerksOfABella coupon booklet.
Cons: One page format Monthly Calendar.

3.      CONQUER 2017 PLANNER

Design: "Conquer 2017: Save, Travel, Invest"

Pros: First planner in the country to promote financial freedom through its monthly financial lessons, practical tools and tips. Great! Too excited for this one. J
Cons: None so far since I haven’t seen the planner yet :D
Happy shopping loves! J

DO IT ALL with Pantene's NEW Pro-V Core Active Formula!

Last month, I've received a lovely gift from Viviamo Inc.(see post here.)

Surprisingly, last Thursday, I've received again another package from them, Pantene's New Pro-V Core Active formula shampoo, conditioner and the new and improved 3-Minute Miracle! And I was like, woah! Thank youuu! :)

WHAT'S INSIDE THE PACKAGE:

1. Pantene Pro-V Hair fall control Shampoo
2. Pantene Pro-V Hair fall control Conditioner
3. Pantene 3 Minute Miracle

Each is 70 ml. (as far as I remember)

MY JUDGEMENT:

I've tried using Pantene Pro-V hair fall shampoo and conditioner before, but the Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle, I must say is a hair care product to die for! I've used it for like 2 days now and I was really  impressed. I've got dry and frizzy hair due to hair dye, but after using it, my hair felt more manageable, softer, smoother and shinier.

I CAN DO IT ALL! now without worrying about my hair getting frizzy and tangled.

Have you tried using it too? Let me know.

Happy weekend! :)
