52 Week Money Challenge

For the past few days, I've been thinking a lot about my Financial Goals this year 2014. Being a bread winner of the family ain't easy, but hey! this is not an excuse for not saving. Thanks to  Kuripot Pinay for sharing this challenge. It is indeed a great way to start saving this year. :)

Amounts could vary, depending on how much you would want to save at the end of the year. As for myself, I  started with Php 5.00 only. Any violent reaction? It's better than not saving at all dude! :D (See picture below for your reference.)

At the end of the year, I would be saving up Php 6,890.00. Hope I can make it! *crossfinger*

Oh, by the way, this is just one of the many many ways to start saving. If you think this is "too maliit", you could invest naman in stocks, mutual funds and the like for greater income/return of investment. As I've said earlier, it all depends on you. Hope you're motivated a bit and Good Luck! :)

DIY Lipstick (w/o wax)

Since I was really obsessed with lipsticks, why not try to make my own and share it with you guys?  I think it's a lot cheaper & safer than buying in the market. But hey! Don't get me wrong! I'm still a fan of Nichido, Maybelline, Revlon and Avon lipstick products! I just really want to make a version of my own :) Besides, I thinks it's really a great idea for give aways! So here's a DIY Lipstick (w/o wax) tutorial for you this week.

DIY Lipstick

What you'll need:

1. A melting spoon
2. A measuring cup
3. A stirrer, as for me, I use a Popsicle stick
4. Lipstick or lip balm container
5. 1/2 tsp Castor Oil
6. Flavoring, I use vanilla
7. Pigments, I use crayons
8.  A heat source like candle
9. 1/2 tsp Olive oil

Procedures:
Step 1.
1. Light the candle and melt the crayons (any color you prefer) using the melting spoon.
Step 2.
2. Stir then put 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil.
3. Stir again then put 1/2 teaspoon of castor oil.
4. Stir again then put a few drops of flavoring.
Step 5.

5. Continue stirring then put in any container you like.

Step 6.

6. Fridge for 5-10 mins and voila! You're now ready to use it!

Simple right? Start doing your own now! Be as creative as you like to be! Be inspired! And keep that creativity in you flowing! God bless! <3
